Born and bred is Australia, we have both seen and experienced quite a lot of our own stunningly beautiful country. From the thick snow in the Snowy Mountains, the rough and rugged terrain in Western Tasmania, the glorious Great Barrier Reef, to the dry and arid Austraian outback. Australia itself, is a fabulous melting pot of culture and is fast becoming a new home to many from around the world.
Whilst Bruce did a fair bit of overseas travel before we met many years ago, we started our overseas travel experience together after our two girls were old enough to stay at home on their own. Our first trip took us to China and Hong Kong, followed soon after by the amazing vibrant India, Dubai in UAE, then onto Chile, Peru, the Mighty Amazon Jungle, Brazil and Argentina in South America, Hawaii USA, Canada, Alaska. Working full time in jobs we've both been in for approximately 20 years we took time off periodically to see the above mentioned places. We have done one short cruise during our travels, but that aside, we have fended for ourselves catching early morning flights to many exotic lands and caught local buses with no English indication to where we should get off (we counted the stops to where we should get off). We've had some amazing times soaking up the culture and learning many wonderful facts about each place we've been. Some of our Highlights: India In India, we travelled by train overnight from Agra to Varanassi. We booked our tickets in advance prior leaving Australia on a tourist class sleeper carriage, not entirely sure what we'd be in for. (continued on following page).
